And for Item 1, Mr. Conklin.

That is Conklin, 4581 Northwest 6th Court. As long as everybody's here, Heavenly Host, protect you and your families. I pulled number 1. It's the time of the year for the CAFR. And I wanted to point out it is available online to everybody. And it's 29 hard copy pages. You can download it. It's PDF as well. So it's kind of important. I mentioned that with the beginning of the CRA, it basically now coincides with the Gateway 7. And the TIF, which is the Tax Incremental Fundage, is the money that gets to stay within those boundaries since the creation of the CRA in 2000. And with the appreciation of the property values there, that appreciated value is the TIF, and that stays to improve that area. When that occurred, within about two and a half years, no more than three, that TIF far exceeded the Gateway 7 extra millage rate that's assigned to that redevelopment agency, you can say, of owners. Stakeholders, the CRA being officially just the city elected officials, six, including the mayor. And I don't see your name tags up there. It's only council members. Anyway, the TIF this year reported in the CRA, which would have been for 2024, was $4,126,953. And the Gateway 7 extra millage is $768,296. And, again, each time this comes up, you see me and I'm asking that the city look in their kindness, especially now with the situation since the lockdown and everything has kind of messed the whole economy up, to zero out that extra millage for the Gateway 7 and basically give those stakeholders a break because they already do pay the baseline tax for their real estate property. And I encourage everybody to take a look at the CRA. The CRA, I call it CAFR. They changed the name of it. I call it CAFR. I yield back. Thank you.

I forgot I did both. Dennis Conklin, 45819566. For the public comments, or for the requests, I should say, when you look at the CAFR for the CRA, you'll see that there's net assets of $20 million. There's an escrow because when they created it, the CRA could take out loans to stimulate the economy there. There's an escrow fund of $3.5 million. But here's the thing. In it, there's interest, accrued interest for the year was over $1.1 million. Now, what I try to bring up each year when these CAFRs come up is the mountain of money. And what this indicates, particularly in this low interest rate era, when you have $1.1 million, and it's been like this year in and year out, it means there isn't enough focus to get the money planted for economic growth within the CRA and within the Gateway 7. And it just piles up in the mountain of money. And what I'm hoping is to refocus the CRA board members on the economic development of that Gateway 7 and, of course, the CRA. And I'll yield back. That's my request. Please, let's get this stuff done.
