SPEAKER_001:19

Thank you, Dennis Conklin. 4-5-8-1 Northwest 6th Court. The reason I pulled this is because there was an element in it, $2,350,264 for catalytic investment strategy lawyers. And because it's always nice to see stuff happening within Gateway and the CRA district, I'd like to have it drawn out to give people encouragement to know that, because this stuff gets swept with a consent agenda. So just to let people know a little bit more about what's going on, and within the CRA, where they put up the fence to prevent pedestrians killing themselves in the traffic there, two of the sections of the fence have already been taken down or not installed, closest to the crosswalk. So I was curious about that, but hopefully to find out more about what this $2 million is about and about the fence protecting the pedestrians. Thank you. I'll yield. Here comes Anna. Good evening, Anna Otaniano, Finance Director. This is the $2.3 million incentive for the Plantation Inn property. Okay. It hasn't closed yet, but that's what it's related to. It's related to the purchase of the Plantation Inn.

Commissioner Fadgen2:44

Okay. Thank you. Good.

SPEAKER_002:48

Thank you. So I know that that encourages everybody in the Park East area, that they're closing the Plantation, yeah.

Commissioner Fadgen2:54

Well, it's already closed.

SPEAKER_002:55

And the Police Department, probably, because of reduced numbers of calls.

Commissioner Fadgen2:58

Yep.

SPEAKER_002:59

Again, I yield back my time.

Commissioner Fadgen3:01

Thank you, Dennis. Can I have a motion?

SPEAKER_003:04

Motion to approve item four.

Commissioner Fadgen3:06

Second. I think that was Council Member Reinstein. Ms. Beggaroe, please call the roll.

I do not see any public comment for the CRA. Is there anybody who would like to make a public comment for CRA in the chamber? I don't see any. With that, meeting adjourned at 6.03. No. I'm sorry. Did somebody say something? Oh, I'm sorry. It's the voices in my head. 6.07.
