There we go. Dennis Conklin, 4581 Northwest 6 Court. Heavenly hosts protect you and your family. I have a couple of requests. First a couple of comments. I was at last night's P&Z meeting and I would request that the commissioners do not let the developers in the CRA after they demolished Plantation General Hospital erect a Colossus eight-story rental building in Plantation Park East. I'm happy to announce that they are pushing dirt for the automated car wash almost across the street from it. And I have two requests for the commissioners. Would you please ask the City Council to allow twelve volunteer Plantation students to each read approximately 100 words of Declaration of Independence on the steps of City Hall after the Independence Parade. I don't think that the City Council is hearing me. And also I have another request. Sixteen days ago, Tuesday the 27th May of 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the Constitutional Article 1 Section 10 Gold and Silver Legal Tender Bill into law. The closing price of gold and the CAFR 2024 was $2,683.70 an ounce. Gold closed today at $3,363.40 an ounce. A dollar loss of purchasing power of 25.3% in eight months. It worked. I was passing these out to elected officials here and also the state senator. It was passed unanimously. by the House before and when it was called back in special session, the Senate passed it unanimously as well. Thank you. I'll yield back.
