SPEAKER_011:39

Dennis Conklin, 4581 Northwest CIS Court. I had a question on the week three, the Vance real estate service, $2,500. That's not a usual expense. I was just curious about that. Has that got to do with the famous Florida grocer or some other thing?

Commissioner Anderson2:01

Mr. Nenemacher, if you can, please.

SPEAKER_012:05

Yes, ma'am. Jason Nenemacher, CAO. That was an appraisal we had performed on 400 420 Media Express building. We have a foreclosure action pending, and we wanted to get a sense of the value to weigh some of our options in that regard. Thank you. Thank you. I yield back my time.

Are there any public comments for the CRA portion of the meeting? Mr. Conklin?

SPEAKER_012:57

Again, Dennis Conklin, 4581 Northwest CIS Court. I want to compliment whether it's the CRA, which you were all directors of, or if it's the Gateway 7, I congratulate you on putting up the safety railings in the median of 441. Many of the other municipalities in Broward have started to do that to protect our pedestrians, particularly now that we're getting housing in the commercial district of the CRA. So hats off for the safety. Yield back time.

Commissioner Anderson3:28

Thank you, sir. Any other additional comments regarding the CRA? Before we adjourn, I would just, for the listening and viewing audience and those of you who are here, there's a member of the Park East community who passed recently. And so we just want to keep the family. Those of you who know Kingsley Smith and he did a lot of great work in that community. And so we want to just keep the family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. And on that note, it is now 6.05. We are going to adjourn the CRA portion of the meeting. And the council meeting will begin at 6.10 p.m. Thank you. Thank you.
